Northwestern women’s lacrosse

DePaul might bring Big East basketball to the Allstate Arena, and Northwestern does indeed play Big Ten football and basketball in Evanston, but rarely if ever have the teams they field been the best in their conferences, much less the nation. Both schools have turned into women’s softball powerhouses, but even they’re also-rans in this competition.
