It’s not their stylish melange of burn-down-Babylon reggae, hardcore punk, and a globe-spanning collection of regional groove styles that makes the Eternals the best band in town. And it’s not the eloquent postmillennial urban paranoia of Damon Locks’s lyrics that does it either.
