Concocted from Chicago Soydairy’s Temptation Vegan Ice Cream, Chicago Diner’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Peanut Butter Vegan Milkshake is as freakishly decadent as its name would suggest. The pricey $6.95 behemoth ($5.50 for a small) is richer than any shake I’ve ever had, vegan or otherwise, and strikes the perfect accord of peanut butter, vanilla, and cookie dough flavors—the chocolate chips, peanuts, and drizzles of chocolate syrup are unnecessary, though not unappreciated. If you plan to eat anything else at the same sitting, I strongly suggest splitting your shake with a friend.
